My name is Michael Coons, and thank you for visiting my website! I was born and raised in southern New Jersey, and I spent nearly every summer as a child vacationing in northern Maine, which is where my love for the outdoors started. Over the years I have had the pleasure of traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, all while growing my love of photography. From seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, the endless fields of Lavender in Provence, to the Northern Lights right here in Maine, I knew that photography was the best way stop time, if just for that one moment, to be able to share what I witnessed through my lens with someone else. Whether it is a simple Dragonfly or the majestic panoramic view of the Northern Lights, there is always a story behind each image.
