You could plan your own vacation to Iceland, but why? I will do all of the work for you: arranging your flights, hotels, and daily sightseeing tours. Many other tour groups include spending each day on a bus with 80 other people and approximately 20-minute stops at each attraction. Elm Street Photography Tours LLC will provide personalized service for groups of 2-4 people.

 

 The first time I went to Iceland I traveled on a lot of those "Big Box" tours. It was a good, but very expensive way to get to know the country. Each tour costs approximately $200 per person per tour! If you were to travel on multiple day trips for two people, that would cost you upwards of $1,600 alone, and that does not count the costs for a few nightly aurora tours at upwards of $140 a person per night! Let's take a look at how our tour differs, even from those large tour companies that operate all over the world...

All tours are 6-night/7-day and include the following...

 

Airfare:

Direct, Roundtrip airfare from Boston Logan International Airport, direct flight to Keflavik, Iceland, (approximately a five-hour flight). This will include priority boarding, your first checked bag, and a personal item carry-on. Elm Street Photography Tours LLC will choose all seats.

 

Hotel Accommodations:

Elm Street Photography Tours LLC will make all of the reservations. All hotels will be comfortable with three-star and four-star establishments.

 

Rental Car:

Once in Iceland a mid-sized SUV, (Jeep Cherokee or similar), will be provided by Elm Street Photography Tours LLC as part of your tour price, and all driving will be performed by the tour members. Any tour member who will be doing any driving while in Iceland will need to have their name(s) added to the vehicle rental agreement as authorized drivers. Also, as part of the rental, a "$0 Deductible" option will be added for financial security. The owner of Elm Street Photography Tours LLC and Elm Street Photography, (Michael Coons), will accompany the tour members in the vehicle at all times, all while being their tour guide as well as their photographer. I am fully insured as a Travel Agent/Tour Guide through Berkshire Hathaway and my Policy can be viewed upon request. The driving commitment of the tour member(s) will consist of approximately two to three hours daily while sightseeing. There will also be late evening/night driving when locating and viewing the auroras.

 

Logistics and Tour Guide information:

The owner of Elm Street Photography Tours LLC and Elm Street Photography, (Michael Coons), will meet the tour members at the departure gate at Boston Logan International Airport at least two hours before the departure time. From this moment on I will be your personal tour guide. Also, all of my photography services will be at your disposal for the entirety of the tour. Driving in Iceland requires only a standard U.S. Drivers License. You may think that driving in a foreign country is difficult or scary, however, I have loads of personal experience driving in Iceland and it is a very simple country to drive in, not unlike driving in the States, (easier in my opinion). Driving is done on the right like in the United States.  A $100.00 U.S. Dollar fuel credit will be given to the customer. After our return to the U.S.A., a collection of not less than 45 high-resolution images from your journey will be made available to you as part of your tour price. These images will be mailed to you within 7 business days and will be on a USB flash drive. These images are yours, you may share them or print them as you wish.

 

Entrance/parking fees:

All fees to locations visited as part of the tour itinerary are included.

- Travel insurance. Elm Street Photography Tours LLC recommends that the tour members purchase travel insurance. While inexpensive, (approximately $100.00 +/- per traveler), this insurance can provide not only total trip reimbursement but also medical and dental coverage while abroad.
